Julia Andrighetti

Yoga Instructor

My name is Julia (she/her) and I’m excited to be here at Yoga Sanctuary. I am passionate about the freedom and flow that can happen when we compassionately connect our bodies and minds.

Growing up I enjoyed meditative and mindfulness practices while I found joy in movement through my ballet training, it wasn’t until 2019 that I embraced asana and a regular yoga practice.

In my past, I often felt disconnected from my own body. It was my symptoms of anxiety and gut health issues that brought me to practice yoga more holistically. What I discovered was not only healing, but empowerment to be my authentic self. Through yoga, I've found home in my body and I desire to help guide others to this sense of empowerment and self-belonging.

The classroom/studio has always been a cathartic space for me, a haven of guidance and collective energy—a mutual exchange of giving and receiving. As an instructor my aim is to skillfully walk alongside you in your practice, creating space for your inner wisdom to expand, as you arrive at a greater sense of Self—body, breath, mind, being.

I also teach Kids yoga here at Yoga Sanctuary! I’m inspired by the inherent wisdom of youth and believe that with the right support and guidance through yoga, young yogis are empowered to blossom and shine. My hope is to empower youth to be able to connect to themselves and the world around them as they learn to tune into their bodies, breath, and minds, exploring freedom, flow, and FUN!
