Yoga tried to find me through asana 20 years ago but I grew in another direction and we lost touch. It whispered to me nine years ago but I did not heed the call. We found each other in 2014 and it was an immediate connection. Yoga has been there, patiently waiting, arms open, to welcome my return – no judgments, just gratitude for finding my way back.
I believe yoga is a deeper understanding of life. It is the integration, the yoking, of our inner and outer world. Yoga offers a safe space to heal our wounds – physical, mental, and emotional.
In May 2019, I completed 230 hours of Holistic Teacher Training at Yoga Sanctuary studying with Shelley Pagitt and Tracy Vacura. I am excited and grateful for the opportunity to teach at the studio that has been so significant to me as a student.
I welcome you to be yourself and show up without judgments, doubts, fears, or expectations. Yoga is peace, love and self-acceptance.
