Courtney Dingman

Yoga Instructor

Yoga is a soft, quiet place for me to land in a world of rough edges that is constantly in motion. My practice helps me to feel my body, become aware of my mind and connect the two.  It offers me a supportive space where I can breathe and get curious about what's going on inside and outside.

I’m endlessly fascinated with yoga and its teachings and I’m equally curious about functional movement and the connection between body, mind and spirit. In 2019 I completed my 230-hour Holistic Teacher Training certification at Yoga Sanctuary and in 2024 I completed a 500-hour (Advanced) SomaYoga and Level 1 yoga therapy training from YogaNorth International SomaYoga Institute.

My classes are an extension of my practice, a blend of classical yoga poses, functional movement postures, and SomaYoga; the framework of Ayurveda aligning with the seasons, energies and doshas; the study and reflection of yoga philosophy and poetry; and making space to breathe, be still and regulate the nervous system.  My intention is to offer a grounding and supportive presence for your practice whether in class or during a client session.

Off the mat you can find me on walks through the forest with my dog, sitting near water, digging in the dirt, spending time with my family and friends, or lost in a book.
