ShapeShifters is loaded with FUN for 3-6-year-olds and includes exploration of yoga, tumbling, and dance with a healthy dose of artistic loving-kindness. Preschool-age children benefit immensely from learning how to recognize their emotions and connect with their breath while they play!
ShapeShifter Series is a fun and playful time for your little one to explore yoga shapes while using their imagination to play and learn. Your child will gain body awareness, a sense of achievement through repetition, and build social skills like patience and communication. This re-shaping of play and practice in our bodies will stimulate positive formation in all areas of child development; cognitive, social, emotional, physical and spiritual.
Shapeshifter Playdates will include an obstacle course of yoga poses designed to gain body awareness, a sense of achievement through repetition, and social skills like patience and communication.
The time will include movement together, story time, art activity, snack break (parents please pack a snack for your child), relaxation, and large locomotor fun, either on the playground or in our spacious community room.
